Shutterless imaging

Correction without a mechanical shutter event

A design or operating mode that avoids mechanical shutter interruptions.

What it means

Shutterless imaging uses a correction approach that does not require the usual mechanical shutter event during that operating mode. The exact implementation is product-specific.

Shutterless describes a correction architecture or mode. It does not automatically establish calibrated thermometry, zero latency or uninterrupted fresh-frame delivery in every condition.

In practice

Integration note

Evaluate the exact firmware, temperature transitions and output path. Confirm thermometry separately from the shutterless description.
