Frame rate
The rate of detector updates or delivered frames, depending on which stage is specified.
What it means
Frame rate can refer to the detector, transmitted video or application processing. Those rates need not be the same, and a repeated frame is different from a fresh scene sample.
Correction events, encoding and buffering can affect fresh-frame delivery. A detector’s nominal update rate does not establish the latency of an entire system.
In practice
Measure delivered frame timestamps under the actual firmware and workload. Confirm whether a quoted value refers to the detector or the selected output mode.
