Operating temperature
The ambient range for operation, which can differ from the thermometry and storage ranges.
What it means
Operating temperature describes the environment in which the product is specified to operate. A camera may state a narrower ambient range for calibrated temperature measurement than for imaging.
Storage conditions and target-temperature measurement ranges describe different requirements. Internal enclosure heating can also make module temperature different from external air temperature.
In practice
Evaluate the finished enclosure and heat path, using the correct imaging, measurement and storage limits from the product specification.
