SDK

Software development kit

The libraries, headers, examples and documentation used to integrate a particular camera path.

What it means

A camera SDK provides software components for acquisition, control or temperature processing. Its compatibility depends on the camera generation, interface, operating system, CPU architecture and firmware.

Sample identifiers and buffer constants may refer to another device in the same software family. Preserve the package structure and adapt the sample to the actual delivered camera.

In practice

Integration note

Download complete SDK archives or folders. Keep libraries, runtime dependencies, licensing notices and project-relative paths together.
