Description
TC01-DUAL compact dual-spectrum UAV AI tracking module
Wide-angle visible and 640 thermal tracking on a compact 4 TOPS platform.
TC01-DUAL adds a 640 x 512 uncooled thermal camera to the TC01 visible tracking platform. It combines person and vehicle detection, PIP, dual-light fusion, CRSF control, and BetaFlight or ArduPilot integration for UAV and mobile-robot OEM projects.
Buyer Summary
Compact dual-spectrum tracking for day, low-light, and thermal contrast
TC01-DUAL combines the TC01 wide-angle EO camera with a 640 x 512 thermal imaging channel. PIP and dual-light fusion support operator observation and AI workflows across changing illumination and target contrast.
The thermal channel is specified for imaging and tracking. The current document does not define calibrated radiometric temperature output, so temperature measurement should not be assumed without separate confirmation.

Integration Notes
Checks to complete before flight testing
- Use a regulated supply and validate inrush, ripple, grounding, and thermal conditions on the aircraft.
- Confirm the exact hardware revision, connector orientation, pinout, and cable set before designing the airframe harness.
- Validate BetaFlight or ArduPilot firmware compatibility and CRSF channel mapping on the intended flight controller.
- Treat range, latency, speed, and target-count figures as supplier test references; flight results depend on optics, target size, weather, vibration, firmware, and installation.
- Complete bench, vibration, thermal, EMI, failsafe, and controlled flight tests before operational deployment.
- Validate thermal-camera placement, heat shielding, USB routing, lens clearance, and airflow on the final aircraft.
Supply Boundary
Module supply, not a complete UAV solution
Camcuda supplies the TC01-DUAL module configuration only. The UAV, flight controller, receiver, ESC, propulsion system, radio, video link, display, ground station, enclosure, integration service, and final application software are not included unless explicitly listed in the quotation.
RFQ Checklist
Information to provide for model and revision confirmation
- UAV platform, flight controller, firmware version, and CRSF wiring plan.
- Target type, expected working distance, scene conditions, and tracking workflow.
- Prototype quantity, forecast quantity, destination country, and required delivery schedule.
- Required cables, connector pinout, mechanical drawing, SDK, and integration documents.
- Compliance, export, procurement, and packaging documents required by your project.
- Confirm whether the project needs thermal imaging only or calibrated radiometric temperature data; radiometry is not specified in the current document.
Product FAQ
Questions for OEM and engineering buyers
Does TC01-DUAL provide temperature measurement?
The current document specifies a 640 x 512 thermal imaging channel, PIP, and dual-light fusion but not calibrated radiometric output. Treat it as an imaging and tracking module unless radiometry is separately confirmed.
Can it display visible and thermal video together?
The supplier document lists PIP and dual-light fusion. Confirm the exact video output, control workflow, and firmware revision during RFQ.
Does it support BetaFlight and ArduPilot?
The supplied specification lists CRSF communication and support for BetaFlight and ArduPilot. Compatibility still needs to be verified against the exact flight controller and firmware build.
Can it run directly from a 4S battery?
The specified input range is 9-16 V. A fully charged 4S battery can exceed 16 V, so use a suitable regulated supply and validate transient and ripple conditions.
