Current modules for UAV evaluation
SuperMini for minimum core mass, AeroMini for compact USB imaging, CAMCUDA FlexMini 640 for OEM optics and MIPI integration, and W640 for a CVBS-first design. Review the selected lens and interface before ordering.

CAMCUDA SuperMini 640 / 640T
A 640 × 512 core measuring 13 × 13 × 13.4 mm, with core-only mass under 3.5 g, excluding the lens and expansion boards. Choose 640 imaging or 640T thermography.

CAMCUDA AeroMini 640
Compact 640 × 512 non-radiometric LWIR USB camera core for drone payloads, DJI-type platforms and custom gimbals. Eight production lens options.

CAMCUDA FlexMini 640
640 × 512 imaging with 12 μm pixels at 50 Hz. Select a CVBS, USB UVC or MIPI output path for your configuration. Custom focal lengths are available for orders over 100 units.

CAMCUDA W640-TIF-K1
A 640 × 512 thermal module for analog CVBS integration. Explore the 9 mm lens configuration and review output and mechanical requirements for your build.
Selection guide
Build around the inspection task.
Aerial observation
Use thermal contrast for low-light scene awareness and field observation. Choose optics around flight height and the area that must fit in the image.
Roof and solar inspection
Separate qualitative heat-pattern observation from calibrated temperature reporting. Specify radiometry, accuracy and calibration requirements if your workflow needs measured temperatures.
Custom payloads and gimbals
Budget for the lens, interface board, cable and enclosure—not just the core. A module is not a complete camera payload or a plug-and-play aircraft accessory.
Project checklist
Confirm the details that change the result.
Image or measurement
AeroMini 640 offers non-radiometric imaging at 60 Hz by default, with a 30 Hz factory option. Its 25 Hz radiometric version is available for supply enquiries only; lens and interface compatibility must be confirmed.
Optics and scene
Provide flight height, scene width and minimum visible detail. A longer lens is not automatically the best choice.
Mechanical fit
Confirm the full assembly drawing, mounting, cable exit, lens clearance and vibration environment.
Host and power
Match the quoted interface board, connector and firmware to your host. Confirm the power and heat budget for the complete assembly.

Send the selected product, application, lens or viewing distance, host interface, size and power limits, quantity, destination and schedule. For thermography, include the measurement requirements. We will confirm the configuration and quotation.
FAQ
Questions before you choose.
Is this a complete drone camera?
No. These are camera modules and cores for OEM integration. The aircraft, gimbal, housing, host electronics and final validation are separate unless quoted.
Which model is the lightest starting point?
SuperMini 640 / 640T lists under 3.5 g for the core only, excluding the lens and expansion boards. Compare total assembly mass before choosing a payload.
Does AeroMini 640 measure temperature?
Choose the camera version. The non-radiometric configuration does not measure temperature. The 25 Hz radiometric version supports temperature measurement and is currently out of stock with no available price. Enquire about a 9, 13 or 18 mm lens and the interface required.
Where can I compare pricing and lens options?
Use the thermal module buying guide and open each current product for available configurations and sample pricing. Orders of 100 or more units follow the inquiry route.
What are the main thermal imaging module applications?
AeroMini 640 is designed for compact OEM thermal imaging. Application areas include industrial monitoring, perimeter scanning, inspection robots, civil optoelectronic pods and UAV payloads. Select the camera version, lens and interface for the scene and host system.
Can AeroMini 640 be integrated into drones and optoelectronic pods?
AeroMini 640 can be evaluated for custom UAV thermal payloads, gimbals and civil optoelectronic pods. Integration requires matching the selected lens and interface board to the host, power supply, mounting and software. It is a camera module for integration, not a complete drone camera or a plug-and-play aircraft accessory.
Can the module be used in fire-warning equipment or fire helmets?
Thermal observation for fire-warning equipment, rescue devices and helmet-mounted viewing systems is an OEM integration application. Contact CAMCUDA to review the intended environment, optics, enclosure and host requirements. The module alone is not a certified fire alarm or a complete protective helmet.
Is AeroMini 640 suitable for electrical and power-system inspection?
The non-radiometric version provides thermal images for observing relative heat patterns in electrical and power-system inspection projects; it does not provide calibrated temperature measurements. If your workflow needs temperature readings, contact CAMCUDA about the 25 Hz radiometric version and its required configuration. That version is currently out of stock and available for supply enquiries only.
Can I use the thermal camera module with Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi?
Raspberry Pi and Orange Pi integration must be checked against the selected interface board, video output, power supply, operating system and capture software. Send your exact host model and intended configuration to CAMCUDA before ordering so our team can confirm the integration requirements and available documentation.
Is NVIDIA Jetson Nano a supported host platform?
Yes. NVIDIA Jetson Nano is a supported host platform for integration projects. Confirm the selected interface board, firmware, video output and frame rate with CAMCUDA for your exact JetPack or Linux environment. Share your carrier board and software version when requesting integration support.
