Description
TC01-HD compact 4 TOPS UAV AI tracking module
Wide-angle HD person and vehicle tracking in a compact 38 mm processing stack.
TC01-HD combines a compact 4 TOPS edge AI board with a wide-angle 1/1.8-inch EO camera for onboard person and vehicle detection, tracking, PIP display, and CRSF flight-controller integration.
Buyer Summary
A compact wide-angle EO module for UAV and robotics OEMs
TC01-HD is the visible-camera model in the TC01 family. Its 38 x 38 mm processing stack and 25.5 mm mounting pattern suit compact UAV prototypes where onboard AI and direct flight-controller communication are required.
The wide-angle EO camera provides a large scene view while the AI board tracks person and vehicle targets. Supplier range figures are scene-dependent references; confirm the target definition and test conditions for your application.

Integration Notes
Checks to complete before flight testing
- Use a regulated supply and validate inrush, ripple, grounding, and thermal conditions on the aircraft.
- Confirm the exact hardware revision, connector orientation, pinout, and cable set before designing the airframe harness.
- Validate BetaFlight or ArduPilot firmware compatibility and CRSF channel mapping on the intended flight controller.
- Treat range, latency, speed, and target-count figures as supplier test references; flight results depend on optics, target size, weather, vibration, firmware, and installation.
- Complete bench, vibration, thermal, EMI, failsafe, and controlled flight tests before operational deployment.
Supply Boundary
Module supply, not a complete UAV solution
Camcuda supplies the TC01-HD module configuration only. The UAV, flight controller, receiver, ESC, propulsion system, radio, video link, display, ground station, enclosure, integration service, and final application software are not included unless explicitly listed in the quotation.
RFQ Checklist
Information to provide for model and revision confirmation
- UAV platform, flight controller, firmware version, and CRSF wiring plan.
- Target type, expected working distance, scene conditions, and tracking workflow.
- Prototype quantity, forecast quantity, destination country, and required delivery schedule.
- Required cables, connector pinout, mechanical drawing, SDK, and integration documents.
- Compliance, export, procurement, and packaging documents required by your project.
Product FAQ
Questions for OEM and engineering buyers
Is TC01-HD a complete drone or tracking solution?
No. It is a module-level AI board and EO camera configuration for OEM integration. The aircraft, flight-control system, communication link, application software, and verification remain the integrator responsibility.
What flight controllers are supported?
The supplier document lists CRSF communication with BetaFlight and ArduPilot support. Confirm the exact flight-controller hardware, firmware, UART, and channel mapping before ordering.
Are the 800 m and 300 m distances guaranteed?
No. They are supplier reference distances for vehicle and person targets. Real performance depends on target size, contrast, lighting, weather, vibration, camera setup, and AI firmware.
Can it run directly from a 4S battery?
The specified input range is 9-16 V. A fully charged 4S battery can exceed 16 V, so use a suitable regulated supply and validate transient and ripple conditions.
